I was thinking Virginia Beach or somewere near there?

i live in virginia beach and i would personally recomend going a little further south like the outer banks in north carolina. it is much nicer there.

Virginia Beach is too big and noisy. Just south of there is Wildwood. The name speaks for itself. For a quieter but enjoyable vacation visit Cape May, New Jersey. There are inexpensive motels, great food, plenty of entertainment and recreation. Bring a camera to this place. Plenty of things to photograph that you won't find anywhere else. If you are close to New England, Stockbridge, MA is an ideal spot. You can visit the Norman Rockwell museum, Chesterwood (sculptor of Lincoln, the Washington Monument) to name a couple. In Stockbridge center is the popular Red Lion Inn. It is one of the oldest inns in the USA. Bordering Stockbridge is Lee, where the world famous Tanglewood concerts are held. Just north of this area are mountains like Jimney Peak. Prices are reasonable and the food is great.

Virginia Beach is nice. Also Outer Banks, Williamsburg, VA has Busch Gardens, even Ocean City Maryland.

My fav. place 2 go 4 a vaction is New York. Theres so much 2 do there but if u dont like busy and loud go 2 the bahamas or something

I agree with Tyler....spend a while on the Outer Banks. I'm trying to convince the wife that we need to go there this year.
