It would depend on the design of the ring with the stones surrounding the main diamond. I prefere saphirres to anything, but if that is surrounded by small diamonds, that's what i would like.

Yes, the really big diamond rings hurt your finger after a while. Plus, they it can look cheap, flashy, and tacky when your wear it. I prefer diamond ring that is tasteful and medium size.

In all honesty, I think a ring can be too big. It probably would clash with everything else you're wearing.. but ohhh

Yes. Most of the rings are just gaudy and look tacky. I'd prefer nothing at all. Buy me a damn car. Keep the ring.

If it weighs alot and hurts your finger I would say that's too big.Also the costume jewelry looking ones can look tacky.I guess it depends on how the ring looks overall.
