I use http://www.ingdirect.com and http://www.igobanking.com

They both have high APYs and 0 minimum balance requirements. If you really want to compare banks, go to http://www.bankrate.com/ to find the best rates. Seriously, this is how I found igobanking.

ING's website is very user friendly and their customer service people are very helpful. Igobanking has a higher APY though.

Igobanking compounds daily and has a high APY. I've only transferred 10% of my savings there because I'm testing them out but so far so good.

I use an actual bank for online checking/ saving account.

It's easy for me to walk down to my bank if I have any problems and wire transfers for free from one account to another.

My primary bank is Washington Mutual and they are currently offering 5% on their FREE CHECKING account with no minimum balance and waived fee for online savings.

Their current online rate for certificate of deposites are also above average ranging at around 5.4%
