How Long Would You Stit At A Red Light Before You Just Would Go Anyway????

This man sat at this red light today= for 18 minutes- while about 50 cars were behind him. Why did he not just go - obviously the freaking light was broke- this happened in Statesville , NC today -

I got honked at the other day after sitting at a red light on a freeway entrance ramp for maybe 5 minutes. That one may have been out of order also, but those lights are metered, it was at rush hour and there was a lot of traffic, so it was hard to tell. But obviously the guy behind me was in a hurry, so he honked and I went.

So to answer your question, I guess I would have gone on my own in another minute or so. Eighteen minutes does seem like a long time.

I would be cautious too
give him a break
With cars coming thru the green on the other side.. he could have been hit/possibly killed

for me 5min is mor than enugh .
just be safe look arond for other cares comimng from other said then leave the seen.
