Ok what happened was this girl named Becky on my bus had a tuberware cookie container(bowl) and she was being mean to the boy next to her named Caleb,so he told me to find the bowl. While she was up in the front he handed me the bowl and I hid it.I waited until she had gotten off and threw the bowl into Caleb's seat and he said I dont want it!So I gave it to this kid Joseph and he took it home. And today my bud driver Cindy found out about it and said she was writing us a refferal to the principal for"telling a minor to steal" and it was just a joke! She went paranoid on us just because of it!My parents back me up 100 % and im not in trouble.Thx.

Your bus driver just doesn't want to get her own asss kicked. That's all she's worried about.

I read this twice, and failed to see that part where you took responsibility for your own actions.

You blamed Becky for being mean....
You blamed Caleb for telling you to do it.....
You blamed Joseph for taking it home....
You blamed the bus driver for taking action....

Hmm..... I'm starting to see a pattern here. Take responsibility for your own actions. A joke is only funny if everyone laughs... ( A horse walks into a bar.....That's the start of a joke...) What you did was wrong, as as such, you deserve to be held accountable.

Apologize to Becky for stealing the container, and move on. Next time, stay away from peoples personal property.

it probably is but u have to realize that everything that goes on on that bus is the drivers responsibility. Maybe next time u'll think before u do something. I know that is not what u wanted to hear but sometimes we have to take the good with the bad and hopefully learn something in the process.

I think that you were being mean. I don't think that you should have not gotten in trouble because you knew that you had something that was not yours and prevent the owner from having it. Two wrongs don't make a right and you shouldn't get out of trouble just becasue it was a joke.

You should never interfere with other peoples personal stuff, and even though it was done as a practical joke it's still stealing,
Would you like your stuff to be taken from you when your not looking?
I think you should go and apoligise to the girl and offer to replace the container

Okay, schools need to concentrate on punishing the MAJOR offenses, not what you described! Yes, that is a stupid punishment! Don't go to the principals office.

That is a stupid reason for a punishment... trust me, bus drivers are crazy.

What if you were in the other girls shoes? You wouldn't like it. Just remember what goes around, comes around.
