I want to delete the search topics that I have entered. not by going to options, content clear forms etc. I have tried this. I am referring to search query by using the magnifying glass search tool that appears in the options that are listed when you open the windows green start bottom left hand corner of screen. as soon as I type initial letter a list beginning with same letters appears. I need these deleting. I am using a visitor pasword protected account.

When you click on the search button. At the bottom of the box is a button called change preferences. You can also turn off autocomplete there. You may not be able to change these on a visitor logon though. I'm not sure....

Down below click on Search Options. Then click Indexing Service. Now check Do not enable Indexing Service and click okay. That should do it.
