This Q&A site is not supposed to be used as a place to gloat. I am 5'4 and was 123 lbs when I got pregnant with my first and magically got back to that weight before having my second thanks to the wonders of breast feeding. I hope to get back to that weight again after this pregnancy. But most woman have a lot harder time then you do at getting their weight back to their pre-pregnancy weight let alone less then their pre-pregnancy weight! Your at the thin side of the ideal weight for 5'4 but you should look into BMI if your interested and see how much of that 112 is fat. Congrats on getting your figure back! What work out were you using?

Yes it does. I wish more new mothers thought that way. Breast feeding burns 5,000 calories a day! Unbelieveable, I know.
Doesn't it make you feel good?
I never felt so close to my babies as when I was breastfeeding them. And with my second baby I had a retained placenta, and with him nursing it contrated my uterus pushing that out which could have killed me.
He is my little "life saver".
Women just don't realize what they are missing. The bonding, losing weight, not having to wash bottles, not having to keep bottles with you at all times. Plus your baby gets all of those great antibodies in the colostrum, the first milk that comes out which is full of proteins and calories and lymphocytes.
Its the best way to feed your new baby, congrats to you!
Your weight is fine. Just keep up a healthy diet and drink plenty of water before and after nursing.

I hate you! JUST KIDDING! Girl, you sound really skinny. I'm 5'3" and I wish I weighed what you did BEFORE you had your baby. Yes, breastfeeding does seem to help. I lost lots of weight after I had all of mine. (I was overweight before I got pregnant.)
