Whichever one is farthest from the other people is fine by me. Usually the table because in the booth you have someone RIGHT behind you. Corner booths are the best.

If im with my family , a like booths because then its like im eating dinner with just my family, and not half the restaurant.
If im with my friends i like tables because tables are much more relaxed and laidback. Also then im close to my friends but not "too" close, the way we would be in a booth.

I prefer a booth, exept when i was pregnant and had a big belly, a table was much more comfortable.
