... and you still have tons (LOADS!) of work to do? Speaking of which... back at it. Breaktime (3 answers and one question) is over... *sigh*

Any pick me ups?

Remove distractions so you can focus and get done what you need to get done -- much as I *hate* to say it, if your work isn't on the computer, shut it off. :)

Music that stimulates you without engaging your mind too heavily -- I like old jazz for that.

Moderate doses of caffeine are okay; too much, and you'll be wired. Keeping a glass of ice water handy can actually be more effective. Got lemon? Add it -- the scent alone can perk you up.

As much fresh air as you can get while you continue to plug along -- an open window or fan may help.

For a pick me up, keep a damp washcloth handy and occasionally drape over forehead or eyes for a moment to refresh yourself.

And finally, a hug from a friend.

*huuuuug*

Back to work, you!

it's a horrible feeling isn't it?
1. Try not to focus on how tired you are because that will make it worse.
2. Do you drink coffee? If you do, I suggest you have some.
3. Next time you have a break, go for a quick walk (around the house) or do something physical to wake yourself up a bit.
4. Splash cold water on your face and freshen yourself up.
5. Is it possible to go to sleep for a bit and then wake up earlier to get it done then?
6. Just put your nose to the grindstone and do it!!!!!!!

Hope you get it done!!!
Enjoy your sleep when you get there!

Someone once told me this simple thing, and it really does help..

When you are having a bad day, you can always just restart your day by taking a few deep breaths, just concentrate on your breathing. Then once you feel better, get back to work on what you were doing, your mind should be clearer and tasks should be a little bit easier to complete.

Relax, take a deep breath. Take your shoes off and cross your legs, like yoga people. If it is not dark outside, do this outside, if it is cool or a little windy or peaceful. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath through your mouth. Then release it through your nose.Do this continuous til u feel peaceful or relaxed.

I will go to bed, and when I wake up, I'll hope that all that work was a very bad dream.
