B4 i start, pls dont judge me. I just want advice. Ive been working for an employment agency for 3 months now. They've placed me with a really great company and told me that after my 3 months were up, the company can hire me permanently. I have to tell you that my bosses (at the company im working for) are somewhat cool. The male boss is really cool and has been pushing to get me hired permanently. But his boss is a female and she likes to point out my bad qualities and broadcasts my mistakes. Well the rep from the agency just called me to tell me that my contract is being extended for another month and 1/2 and then after that time, the company may decide to hire me on. They are also restricting my responsibilities. Mind you, any mistakes ive made havent been major ones, and ive noticed that when others in the office make mistakes, its overlooked and not talked about. (fair? not really but oh well) Now heres my dilemma, I like the job, and my coworkers, but is this treatment right?

Would you leave and find another job, or stay and suck it up? I feel that the company is dragging their feet and has no intentions of hiring me. The job pays ok thats why im considering staying, but id like to get some feedback from others to see how they would handle a situation like this. Thanks

this happens all the time with temp's.. remember the employee's there have seen alot of temp's come and go i'm sure. So the treatment is not fair. You have to prove to them and overcome all the negitivity, by staying focused and not allowing there negitivity to dictate your work and preformance, continue your month and a half show that you have learned from your mistakes, and that your getting better at your job, this will earn there respect, and you will get hired on full time and increase your income.. be patient and good things will come....

Keep looking that is what I say. Follow your heart if your not happy then you have to change your life. I felt like I was stuck in a job that I hated until recently I learned that this is only my current reality and nothing is holding me back just me. I can and be what ever I want. Since then I applied for a flight attendant career and recently been hired. So follow your dreams and they will come true.

Yes it is as you are the temp. there and so fair game to be picked on. Just work hard and don't make any mistakes and you will be hired permanently and then you can pick on the new temp. that comes along. Good luck.
