yes sure, it's all coz this friend is kinda people who are not brave enuf to tell their mates about what angered thim, for the reason of the coldness is a thing that u did or said that made him angry, this thing is usually unintentioned but instead of tellin u in the face, he simply escapes this way.
all u have to do is to ask him or another third part friend about the issue. if he tells u, then apologize but never treat him the same old way ( as friends and nothing happened) but be nice
good luck

uh, yeah. And you might have actually done something wrong, and don't know it.
You know that schoolkid game where yer in a circle, whisper in the ear, and then it goes down the line until it becomes unintelligible? Could be that.
Soooo...either you did something or you didn't. Thought about texting/e-mailing your friend and referring them to this page? "Hey, I like you, I wanna make things right, whassup? Did I frank something up? Do you need to talk to me? Is there anything I can help with? I value our friendship. Are you having anything going on that I can help with? Wanna talk?"
Don't accuse. Just offer yourself up. "Sorry if I did something wrong, but I can't imagine what that might be. I miss our talks. Is there anything I can do to help? Including, if you want, leaving you the frank alone?" Good-luck---Brian

Yes, it happened to me. A good friend became distant without any obvious cause. Remember that the problem is in their mind, not yours. Perhaps they gained a lot of weight and are to embarrassed for old friends to see what they now look like. Who knows? There isn't much that you can do about it. Just remember that the problem is within their mind, not yours.

Maybe it's not you at all. Maybe something that you are unaware of caused this. If you were truly friends you could ask what caused the problem. It could be you did or said something that
turned your friend off, and you didn't realize it at the time. It is better to get it out in the open. You can't solve it if you don't know the problem.

Yes, and have you searched your mind thinking..."Did I do something wrong? Did I say something bad about this person to someone else?" Just go ask them and find out what is wrong..

Usually if you give the situation a little time, a "true friend" will talk about it, and get things straight.

Just remember that friends are not forever unless its your family. Your family is your friends and the ones you love. So dont worry about anybody else
