Age-ratings, whatever they're called. Like if the anime is Pg, or pg-13. I know that some anime varies, but like the most extreme content would be rated this or whatever.

I'm renting anime from Netflix but they aren't rated by the company that usually rates them. I'm kinda concerend about the extreme things in anime.

So is there a website that rates anime?

If you look on some anime review websites, they will basically sum up whatever the content is. Here is a good review website that offers suggestion as to what type of audience it is for:

It is just one site, there are a ton. But if you just do a little researchign it is pretty easy to find what the content is.

Anime News Network doesn't list age ratings, but it will tell you if there is adult content and the genre of the anime. Theres a brief discription for each one too.
