I am not talking about just in regards to relationships, but even to not being able to sign a long-term lease to live somewhere, make an ADVANCE reservation for a plane-even somewhere I want to go, make plans to get together with friends, make advance appointments for medical treatment. This society runs on schedules, advanced planning, signing leases, etc. and I freeze into paralysis with anxiety of being locked in to anything! Yes, that includes work (I freelance). I only can bear one day at a time. This is serious and I can't afford a therapist (which would require an advance appointment and money), so I would appreciate any help in this.

Take a long look at your childhood and your family. It sounds as if you have found change to be the only consistent thing in your life.
I am of the other side of the coin. I have a terrible time with change. I live in places for decades. Have done the same job for the last 30 years. But I came from a slower period in time.
I feel you are reacting to society today. Many employers use constructive dismissal to systematically turn over staff to keep wages lowered. We have fast food, Automatic Teller Machines. Rapid Transit. etc, etc. I feel you are simply the product of our present times.
I hope you have a good support system in place. Family and friends who understand you.
You may want to look into tapes and CD's that help you deal with anxiety. That way you don't have to deal with therapists. Here are some sites:

Someday you are going to die -- that's a commitment/entrapment we all have to face. You/we don't even get to know when or how. With that as background, be glad there are a few things you CAN control, a few choices and commitments you CAN make.
Do you(now) feel entrapped by a choice you(then) made yesterday? How can you entrap you? The lack of logic here makes the need for therapy fairly urgent. Many priests and pastors have counselling training. Many churches run therapy centers that are affordable.
How can you ask anyone here for advice? Wouldn't you feel entrapped following it?

Become free, give away everything, meaning make the outside wait for you, and when it comes to relatinships, create a fog, not to deceice but to protect you a$$.

To me, all of these types of issues stem from a person not trusting themselves or believing in themselves. Why don't you trust or believe in yourself to this extent??????????? Everyone at one time or another has or have had doubts about choices and decisions they make, their actions, plans etc etc etc. Allowing that to become something which cripples you though is something which needs outside help, both to understand and to correct. I'm pretty sure if you look for them you'll find free "walk in" clinics or individuals that could help.

you're splendid related to the restrictons imposed by using the U.S. society, fantastically in the super cities, yet why no longer substitute societies rather of combating rearanging your authentic nature. living in tension is a factor of what the U.S. way of existence imposes upon comfortable souls. come across a distinctive subculture, that caters to your desires and would subsequently be extra appropriate.

Learn about how the law of attraction works and you will solve all your problems. Learn to focus on how you want things to be in your life. Avoid using your imagination for negative results.

I can relate to it. You have a great issue to look into and someone to confirm your thoughts about such an issue.
I just had a breakthrough tonight. Please contact me if you want to discuss further....whatever is holding you back, or tingling in the back of your mind.

Honey, you need help whether you want to or can afford it.
You can't be successful if you can't commit.
Talk to a therapist.

Well, it must be hard for you to commit to something, but try to think that life is a big commitment...you should stick to something if you want to do something with your life...
