what is the difference between USE WINDOW TO CONFIGURE MY WIRELESS NETWORK SETTINGS and DON'T CHECK IT.
my laptop wireless work well at office but doesn't work at home (with security password, but has set it.) .

and wireless zero configuration already " startup type on automatic". I restart the service, it did not work. I truly have no idea. thanks

If its unchecked you have some other software on your machine that is controlling your wireless. Could be intel, IBM, depends on what wireless card you are using. Usually in your system tray you will see whatever software is controlling the wireless connections. I prefer to use Windows - It seems more reliable than others...Check it may over ride the "other" software, sometimes the "other" software will automatically take over, it will uncheck use Windows to configure...I uninstalled all of the other applications that can configure wirelss connections on my machine so only windows was left to use...
