No one can deny that men and women are, on average, not physically equal. That being said, there are both men and women that are very well suited for fighting fires. Just like there are men and women that are definitely not suited for the job.
I feel like the issue is being made too black and white. There is no simple "yes" or "no." Look at the military. There are plenty of women that are capable and do a fantastic job. Does that mean that all women are? No. Furthermore, does that mean that all men are? Absolutely not. The question can only be answered on a case-by-case basis.
