That word has definetely lost its meaning. People use "gay" as they do "idiot" or "stupid" in a jokingly manner. It doesn't offend ppl who are called it by their friends, but personally I don't use it. It may offend ppl who really are gay, and if one takes it seriously they can get emotionally hurt, being called gay when they're not. One guy at my school committed suicide cuz ppl kept calling him "gay".-and he wasn't. (and I live in Canada)

I think gay is just a word tossed about and used for everything nowadays. A teenager I know told me my phone was gay!!!

It all has to do with stereotypes. Maybe your metro or have a higher pitch voice, or maybe not, but people will try to make you feel worse then they do. If you don't want it to happen anymore change. It will be worth it in the long run. And if they don't stop then GROW A PAIR and stand up for yourself or else it will never stop.

No, your not gay, but that last question about, the last show that made you cry, could have been a little sensitive. Maybe he's a homophobe and beats his dog to gain control of a situation? :)
