This depends on how large the files are, and what type of internet connection that you have.
If it is an image right out of an 8 megapixel camera on dial-up, it could take 15 or 20 minutes each.
If you can resize the Image using editing software, you can reduce the download size considerably without degrading the image quality.
I you could be more specific on the images, I might be able to help better.

About 18 inches! You need to give alittle more info for a meaningful answer. What's your connection speed, how big are the pictures file sizes

depends on where it is going,your internet speed and the size of the pictures,but it will get to where you are sending the same day.
