I see different types like Acrylic, Cotton, Nylon, Cashmere, Wool, merino etc. Need to know which is a better quality?

I need to know which is more expensive? My problem is I go to Macys and I see a simple sweater of a brand for $70 and another sweater in the same store, same brand name for $20. Drives me mad. What am I missing?

i would stay away from wool as it itches. cashmere is suppose to be the best. But when it comes to quality. the besst place to buy is L.L. Bean.com life time warranty.

Cashmere! I think wearing sweaters is pointless unless it is good quality Cashmere.

Cotton is the best but Just remember that holiday sweaters are like so 80's so are stripes.

Cotton is the best type, its a great quality of clothing, && its made so that it last even after you wash it a lot of times!

100% cotton, marino wool, cashmere are the best.
