I know with fear our bodies have the Sympathetic Nervous System which enables us to take a "fight or flight" approach to something we percieve to be a threat. So when we are afraid, we have a fear of a threat, we choose to run or stay and fight.

It is called the "fight or flight" reaction. We only have a couple of things we can do when faced with fear. Most of us will run. Why? Because most people are not fighters. If faced with fear of a loved one being hurt we do the opposite, we fight. It may sound a little crazy but as human beings we are basically a good group.

It is the fight or flight responce. When some one is under deep emotional, of phyisical stress the Fight or Flight responce is the "Survival instinct" in all of us. Some are good at ignoring the responce others are ruled by it. Happy people running in movies is the concept that exersize makes one happy by increasing the endorphine level in your blood stream.

We run when we feel threatened, because if the first humans would have just stood there and watched a lion or whatever, comeing at them, well the human race wouldn't have survived very long now would it?

When people run they fear the unknown. People tend to hide from things that are mysterious and are afraid of.
