I'll tell you the truth. No, I' m not. I go by how people are to others, how they are to me. I have met people of great worth of all races. I have known very fine people who are black, hispanic, white, yellow and red (can you tell I've lived a long time?) Also of all "cliques".. Such as rednecks, bikers, goths, people who live in trailer parks, people who live in wealthy neighborhoods. I have talked to people at homeless shelters who really impressed me. What matters is caring and respecting of others. And intelligence doesn't do it for me, either. I've known "slow learners" who were motivated to do their best, and even when someone was unkind to them, they responded with kindness, not anger. What's in a person's heart, how they are with others.......that's what counts to me. I've learned to listen before I decide.

The first thing That came to my mind when I read that question was no, of course i'm not. I have Black Friends, and stuff. But then I stop and think about all the times someone has made me mad thats of a different color than me, and I know in my mind I called them all kinds of racist names and stuff. And I'm pretty sure that without meaning to I have catagorized other races too. So where as I want to say no. I have to say, maybe just a little, and that makes me ashamed of myself.

No. I think I'll look down on certain stero types. The hard core mexican Vato Loco, The wannabe hard core white dude/chick trying to fashion himself after Eminem, The black dude/chick being loud and obnoxious in the mall.
The snobby "daddy buys me anything" girls at Starbucks.
I'm hispanic myself and some latinos look down on me 'cause I'm "whitewashed" or "americanized". I've experienced it. Doesn't give me the excuse to look down on ANYONE else. But it's something a lot us of do no matter what race are.
Watch the movie "Crash". It's all about this subject.

There is only one race, the human race. After that comes ethnicities. Consider for a moment a young white male emulating the ethnicity of another ethnic group. Perhaps he dresses in the current popular dress of that other ethnic group. What does this make him? A backwards racist? No. He is just as human as those other humans who share a common ethnicity amongst themselves. We are all human. Some ethnicities frown on other ethnicities. This is commonly called "racism" but if you really think about it, there's no such thing.

Everyone knows that they feel something different towards races that is not theirs; however, with tolerance we can learn to live with each other despite the racial differences. . .I wouldn't say I am racist because racist has a negative connotation implying that I HATE on other races. . .I do feel prejudice at times, but in the end tolerance and respect empowers my thinking. . .

I think your a racist for asking this question. Reverse racism seems to be getting over alot these days. You should look at the person based on the person not on skin color. That gos for ALL races.

No. I don't use race as a reason to put down anyone. The person stands on their own. I tend to form my opinions from their actions and the type of person I perceive them to be, and not their color, or heritage.

I don't even have to think about that one. I'm most definitely not. My ancestors went through too much for me to even think about hating someone cause of their skin color.
However, I do have my stereotypes.
