I can't decide what to major in when I go to a University, and what I decide to do in live will have a deep impact on where I want to attend college.

My interests are:
Law - I like finding out information, arguing my point, helping people, etc. Or Paralegal?

Psychology - Not the 'sit on a couch, tell me your problems' psychologist, but more of the psychologist who studies neurological disorders, treatments, etc.

There's other things I'm interested in. Obviously I'd like a career that could make me good money, but it doesn't have to be $180 an hour or anything.

There's no right or wrong answers, I just want suggestions!

Any ideas?

How about foresenic psychology, that way you can decide if you double major or major/minor, you can put both degrees to work for you.
Private investigator; you can start your own business and be your own boss.
Medical psychology-working in a hospital that specializes in neurological disorders.
Hope this helps some.

First, forget what others tell you and go with your heart on what makes you happy. Too many people pursue a career doing things that they are not happy with doing. In each of your cases, you are looking at more than the standard four year university. If that is what you truly want, then don't hesitate. Law will likely be quicker than neurological psycholological disorders, so how much education money you have to use will also be a factor. Good Luck!

Try going into psychology, really. You already said it's not your thing to sit down and be calm about it, but it pays well. You also said that you like finding out information -there are ALWAYS new mental health medications out on the market, so there's a little bit of chemistry involved too- and helping people. You can also kind of integrate your 'hobby' of law in there for those reasons and get the best of both worlds. :)

Based on the information you gave us I think you'd be especially interested in criminal psychology, another perk of your love for law and psychologu- you do, like a lawyer, kind of have to 'discect' the minds of criminals you may be psychoanalyzing.

However, nobody knows you like you do...it's kind of a contradictory, hypocrite thing to say this but ultimately it's your decision and don't let people on the internet choose for you!

Honestly the people who seem to do best financially and career wise (coming from 20 years LARGE coporation experience), are business majors with Masters degrees.

Learning to communicate well, present, sell, etc. to the company you work for, moves you up in the company. Somebody from the company I work for just got passed for a promotion, so they gave her a "package" worth $80M

Yes $80M, if you look around enough you'd find it in the news.

I would avoid law...it is currently a glutted field and expected to get worse over the next ten years. I think the suggestion of criminal psychology or something similar is best.

Why don't you look into Criminology (Forensic Psychology)? You would be dealing with criminals (law), and you would be studying them and analysing them.. seeing what makes them tick and treating them (or at least trying to).
