Looks to me like you may need to go to your local pregnancy clinic and get re-educated on making babies. There you will find many free booklets and pamphlets to answer many of your questions. Also a hands on education, with a doctor or nurse who can also answer questions that you may have.

Are your cycles regular? You can chart them on the web at places like mymonthlycycle.com. The "standard" ovulation is 7 days past the end of your period, this isn't true in all cases. If you really want to know when your ovulating, try picking up an ovulation kit and see what time of the month you ovulate. Just because your ovulating does not mean your going to get pregnant right away, theres tons of factors that go into the sperm fertilizing the egg. Ovulation typically lasts around 48 hours. Check out the website and also pregnancy.org. They have a ton of information for you. Either way good luck!!

It does not automatically follow that you get pregnant if you have sex during ovulation. It is just more likely that you will get pregnant if you have sex then; it is not a given.
Yes, those ovulation kits work. You are most fertile the day before and the day after you ovulate. When we were trying, the fertility doctor would inseminate me the day before and the day after. The kits should tell you when you are ovulating.

I'd suggest using an ovulation kit. I've read so much about them online. It would give you a great idea when you are ovulating then you can track and have sex around the best time to conceive. Usually ovulation lasts 7 days. 5 before and 2 after. 5 before because sperm can live 5 days. 2 after because you could ovulate later.

A woman can ovulate anywhere between 10 to 15 days AFTER the first day of her period, that's the norm but I guess you could be off a little from the norm. You do not need buy those kits to find out when you are ovulating you can do it yourself by taking your temp everyday of the month whether or not you are ovulating or menstrating or doing nothing .Just remember as soon as you wake up ( Do Not Get Up) keep as steal as possible and take your temp for 4 to 6 minutes and write it down and when you are ovulating you will notice a slight rise by a degree or two in your temp and you are a fertile Myrtle then.It may take you until next month to get a baseline and I would strongly reccommend you start in the morning and by next month you will catch you ovulation.I got pregnant 2x's using this metheod and it does work.It may not work the first time and I would give it 6 mopnths and if there is no conception I would have your man's sperm count checked. Some other things to remember is don't be having sex EVERDAY this lessens the sperm count as will hot baths or hot tubs as well as alot of alcahol consumtion .The sperm can live for up to three days after it is ejaculated.I would suggest you have sex on these days after you start your next cycle.day5,7,9,11,13,14,and 16,your egg can live for 24 hours and if you are ovulating on day 15 then you are covered there too.please let me know what happens but remember do not get up take you temp and DON"T move around alot in bed until after you take your temp no talking either just lay quietly and remember to keep a record so you can see when it starts to go up.Please e-mail me and let me know how it goes.Good Luck!!!!mitzic63@yahoo.com

Well i would first start with getting to know your body such as bbt and cervix and coutning your cycles .. then seeing when you are mostly wet down there as well cause thats a big sign.. take you temp with a basal thermometer every morning than start taking prenantals before you go to bed cause idk about you but they made me sick threw out the day! than i would keep a chart that says your temps. and if your wet dry and ect.. those ovulation predictors do work but that can get expensive first get to know your body and after 2-3 months than go buy some of those an average couple takes 6-12 months to conceive and start eating really healthy and work out 2-3 times weekly and take it from there and see what happens i would keep signs track of signs of your body cause that will tell a girl for sure if something is wrong or happeing! good luck! Here is some stuff that might help you!
(plus don't listen to someone if they say you ovualte every 14 days its your cycle you count! and everyone is different thats the first thing my doctor told me!)
STEP 1: Take your temperature every morning when you wake up, before getting out of bed or using the bathroom. Your temperature will drop slightly right before you ovulate, and then will rise. It will continue to rise on the following two days, and will register about 0.4 to 0.6 degrees higher than your normal temperature.
STEP 2: Observe any abdominal discomfort. Some women experience a sharp pain in their lower abdomen when they begin to ovulate. You may also get a pain on either side of your lower back. The pain should only last a brief time.
STEP 3: Be aware of discharge. Cervical mucus becomes thinner and more watery as ovulation approaches. At ovulation, it resembles raw egg whites in consistency.
STEP 4: Notice any changes in cervix color, which also indicate ovulation. The normal color is pink; when you ovulate, the color becomes pale or bluish.
