I just read a question close to this so I thought I would ask this also, just in case someone else did.
If a woman had sex a week before her period and received a normal period do you think she could still be pregnant afterwards?
I don't think she could especially if it was a normal period, although rare things have happened.

It is not possible to have a 'period' when pregnant. However, some women get bleeding in early pregnancy that they mistake for a period.
If a period comes on time and is the same as usual, then it is highly unlikely that a woman is pregnant.
I think the whole 'periods during pregnancy' is really over egged on this site because lots of women hope they are pregnant and ask if they could be even though they got their period, and then people answer 'my aunt's friends sister had periods during her whole pregnancy'. Obviously out of all the hundreds of women we come across in our lifetimes, some will get odd body behaviours when pregnant. For the vast majority of us, a period means not pregnant!

It's possible, but chances are slim. However, YOU CAN GET PREGNANT ANY TIME OF THE MONTH. The nonsense about only being able to get pregnant during your ovulation time is not necessarily true. I got pregnant a week before my period was due, and ended up having a slight period. Turns out I was pregnant.

Unless you ovulate late then no, you can't, ovulation is normally take place during the middle of your cycle, so from day 13 or 14, during that day you have 3 days in which to become pregnant, that is while the egg is travelling down the fallopian tube.

Some women experience 'normal' like periods all through their pregnancies. I asked similar question a while back and I got so so many responses from women who all have experienced it / or were currently experiencing it. It made me realise its not as rare as maybe you first think!

a week before, probably not. But yes it is possible. I suggest you wait at least 2 weeks after you last had sex cause thats how long the pregnancy hormone takes to show up on a test.
