Depends on what other fish you have and their diet. Many fish eat anything smaller than them if they are carnivorous. This is why many young guppies are sold as feeder fish. I'd recommend reading up on the other types of fish you have before adding a potential snack to the aquarium. Best wishes to you!

Mine had a couple batches the first week of january. They were born within 3 days of each other. One batch was big enough at 1 month the other at about 21/2 months.(same tank same father) Now there is a huge difference in size between even fry from same mother.

I also have a tank of my own with 2 guppies(one woman and one male). I merely have been given a clean 1gal tank for breeding applications. this is an exceedingly much less costly and basic to establish device for beginers to breeding livebearers. factor is, your guppy WILL consume her fry (offspring) in the event that they have not got any hiding places. additionally the different fish in the tank additionally will discover the frys a delectable snack in the event that they are no longer separated from the tank at as quickly as. in case you desire the greater youthful guppies to stay to tell the story, you are able to desire to get a small tank, or you ought to purchase a floating tank from maximum interior of sight fish shops, then you certainly placed the fry into the tank and watch them boost :) I even have had one stay to tell the story with the help of itself with none separation from the tank friends yet all of his brothers and sisters have been eaten (approximately 20 of them). sturdy success at the same time with your guppies :)

A lot depends on how many places they have to hide, if they survive long enough you probably are looking down the road about 6 weeks. Even Mom and Dad will eat them. Feed them baby fish food, practice good fish keeping skills, and have fun.

It really depends on lots of things. Temperature, how clean the water is, how often you change the water, what you feed them and how often you feed them all affect their growth rate. If you take really good care of them it should be about a month for them to be safe .

till they look big enough that they wont fit in your other fishes mouths. or you could get some plants for them to hide in like moss balls and stuff!
good luck
