Frankly, how on earth (no pun intended) were the Sumerian cosmologists to know!
Did they use their 'special powers' of the 'paranormal' to construct an ancient telescope made entirely out of baked 'mud' and palm tree oil. Maybe they were in touch with the ancient Egyptians, who may have 'supplied' them with extra sensory batteries borrowed from Von Daniken (who incidentally was a time-traveling reverse vampire - apparently) and alongside the Ancients of Mu-Mu and the Mothman carefully and scientologically documentified this UNKNOWN PLANET!
Gosh...

According to facts, there is not existence of Planet X:

Planet X is a large hypothetical planet with an orbit beyond that of Neptune. The scientific basis of the Planet X hypothesis was broadly discounted in the early 1990s and today no significant portion of the scientific community believes it to exist.

Here is a really interesting site about it. I am not sure how accurate the science is but it is fascinating. It says that the planet already hit earth very early on and caused our planet to be smaller. Imagine if we had a bigger planet! Would we even have life? Who knows :)

No. If there is another planet out there it can no longer be called X, since it was Pluto is no longer a planet. Since the X was also used to denote 10, the new planet would only be nine, and thus X can no longer be used.

SOME people say that planet x is another name for Mars or it is an entirely whole different planet.

no, it was distant and small to be called a planet. (not totally positive on that.)
