I bought a sansung ml-2010 for about $60 from Best Buy awhile back. I came with a starter toner approx 1000 pages. Replacement toner is about $70 for about 3000 pages. I love it and have had no problems.

Don't you get a Sunday paper in your area? Each week we get separate flyers for in-store sales at Office Max, Office Depot, Best Buy, Computer City, CompUSA, advertising weekly specials. I have seen new laser printers for as low as $99, and it would come with a starter toner cartridge and at least a minimal warranty.

Never ever buy a used printer!
Thier parts do have a service life and you never know how much of that has been used.
You can pick up a samsung or brother even a base model HP for around $100

I had my best luck with a Dell P1500. Toner costs $80 but prints 6000 pages. I refill my own for $20 (10 for the toner and 10 for the chip.) eBay has the best prices for me!

You can buy a new one for $100. I would look at Canon and Brother in that order.
