I really have become a football fan. I used to hate it. Then I started getting into football pools at work and I got hooked. At first, my husband was exited, now all we do is fight over which game we are going to watch. He says he has created a monster. What do you guys think?

I'd like it if she was interested in sports, sure. What I wouldn't want is ms. superfan, rocking a foam #1 finger and a personalized jersey while frothing at the mouth over a call.

Your husband is insane!!! Man I would love to fight over which game to watch... The fact that my wife would even watch with me would be great. My wife use to follow sports (as she says) but says she hates it now because I am such a critic and analyze the games while they are in process. What am I watching it for??? I like small crowds 3-5 or just me and the family but I do hate big crowds cause then you get the idiots that don't know crap but act like the know it all. Tell your husband to split games with you. Get PIP or you get the early game and he gets late or vice versa. Good Luck !

It is a blessing and a curse. I have never had a women who was interested in sports. But the plus side is you get to spend time together. The negative side is when you want to watch the game with the guys, she will want to go. As far as fighting over which game to watch, you and your husband should compromise. One week you pick, the next he does and so on.

I love the fact that my girlfriend is a football fan. We don't have the problems with what games to watch because we're both huge Chiefs fans. She's a very knowledgeable fan and its incredibly sexy when women know a lot about sports.

My man loves that I am into football and our team. I am not as interested in other games, but I am all about our Bolts!
Because of our unity in the team, we do not have the problem with fighting over the game. If the Chargers are not playing and I don't want to watch other games, I just flash him and we go play. :-D

If my girl was fighting with me over what game to watch then I guess I wouldn't like it. Or worse if she routed for the rival... if she was a Colts fan... Sunday would not be a happy day. But you both like the same team I don't see why there would be any problems.

Well the difference is he probably wants to watch a team and you want to watch a game. So no I wouldn't want someone who is into the GAME but not a team. To me that isn't that much better then if she looked at me stupid. If that was the case I'd be like honey give me 3 hours alone on Sunday. I only watch one team and only pay attention to one team. Sure come playoffs I'll watch most of the games, but during the regular season I don't care.
