I'm a whiz at the oldies, the new stuff (like the last 15 years) is gibberish to me.

I am not an older timer, heck I am not even in college and I dont have a clue who most these musicians are. Of course...that is probably because I dont care to associate myself with those who like them(them being a band) or the band itself. The bottom line.... I am young and don't know as many bands and musicians as every other child in my school.

I am an old timer too. The only thing I know about today's music is that it ain't classic rock., and I have now idea what they are talking about.

I do click over to Music sometimes...but rarely answer a question. Anything after the early 70's, I guess I started getting too busy to listen much....

For real! I actually asked one guy who the heck that was...he gave me a link in an email, and it turned out to be some pretty decent music by someone I'd never heard of (that lets in a pretty big crowd, btw)!

no dear,iam a old timer too,but the music they talk about,i dont know anything about it.i guess iam too old for them.i like old country,bluegrass and old 50s and 60s rock.i dont know how old you are,but iam 58 and this music today doesnt tick with me.
