It is based on St. George and the Dragon and covers part of my arm, my shoulders and chest. I have the idea in my head and although im not a bad artist i cant get want i want onto paper? any advice is welcome, i live in London.

Sounds beautiful! You should find your tattooist and have him or her draw up a mockup! Afterall, the best tattoos are drawn directly onto the skin and not using a trace.

I love medieval interpretations of this subject. Check the Victoria and Albert for some books or handouts on medieval illumination. (wishing I lived in London!)

If you type: "TATTOO DESIGN" into Google, it will bring you many choices of where they design TATTOOS!
Once there, look for a 'search' box to find what your design would most likely be called!
type in a description to the site owners for a sample of what they can e-mail you, or at least send you some advise or help!

Go to a few different tattoists, they are usually excellent artists and by visiting more than one you're bound to get what you're looking for.
I had mine done in Nunhead, SE London, I would definitely reccommend them.

I would go to Camden Town and see what you can find there. There are many tatoo places there so you could ask someone.
