I want to write a fictional story about bad karma, any ideas?

What about karma for someone who does NOTHING. Like, this person doesn't do anything really that bad, but he stands by while others do. Like if youw ant to make it about a teenager, it could be someone who sits in class and watches others get bullied. Then the karma could be someone not helping him when he needs it.
