There isnt one singular most powerful mutant in the marvel universe. In the marvel universe, the description of Omega-level mutants are for those who have unlimited potential. One of such is Franklin Richards and another one is Jean Gray as the pheonix. I dont know what those guys up there are smoking but spiderman isnt even a Mutant, he wasnt even born with powers.

The list of Omega level mutants are the following,

Iceman
vulcan
Phoenix
Omega Kid
Elixir
rachel summers
Mister M
Mr. immortal
Franklin richards

If u want to learn more of about this group, go to wikipedia but htese guys are the prima donna of hte mutant population. Also, they were strong enough to not be affected by Scarlet Witch's M Day.

it depends on what your talking about. in the marvel movie universe Phoenix is the strongest mutant due to her high level powers. In the Marvel comic book universe its almost impossible to say, due to so many factors, although i would bet on Proff. X or Spidey. if you watch X-Men 1-3 you would understand more about this or you can go to your local comic shop and have a chat with one of the workers, and pick up a few back issues of X-Men, Spiderman, Capt. America, etc. All in all i guess it just depends on the situation and the hero's (or villains) fighting. Do some research and make your decision.

My guess is Franklin Richards. At least he has enough potential power even as a kid to get the Celestials attention.

It used to be a toss up between Professor X and Magneto. But they've both lost their powers.

So probably Apocalypse.
