We have been leap frogging around the Pacific working our way into substantial land Japan. there grow to be plans to invade it with extra effective numbers than D day in Europe. They even had ships staged in Pearl and took a devastating blow from an twist of destiny. Little is heard or written approximately it i do no longer even bear in mind the call besides the shown fact that that's in the background books. sort of like some issues make front website some in the middle. They predicted many might die on the two sides had they no longer drooped it. Germany grow to be additionally engaged on the bomb. a sturdy deal on it grow to be greater by utilising some germans who had escaped ot the U. S. throughout the conflict and grew to grow to be individuals. The making and flow of the bomb grow to be a super secret throughout the 40's.

Yes. You can hold America completely responsible. Like Harry Truman said, "The Buck Stops Here!" The USA is responsible for seeing to it that an estimated 100,000 of our Servicemen didn't die taking that island by conventional means. I'm especially grateful for that because my father was 5th Army Air Corps and was on Okinawa when they dropped the bombs. I wasn't born until 1948 so you do the math.

The USA didn't start that war but we finished it because we banded together against a foreign conglomerate that intended us harm. It's too bad that we lost that togetherness somewhere because there's some really bad guys out there right now who would kill Americans no matter whether they are sympathetic to muslim beliefs or not. It's really to bad that the delusional libs can't see this and it's even worse that some of them who write to this blog are so full of hatred that they would rather express their hatred for our President than help him put an end to this. I pity fools who use words like Repugs (you know who you are) because their stupid hatred will be the end of us all.

Glad someone has wised up to facts. The two big ones were to end the conflict and save millions of lives. Most of the destruction of Europe was English and French Revenge for getting their butt kicked by Germany.

What blame. We showed the world that having the bomb makes us a super power. Japan got what it deserved.

"Let the dead to the dead" said Jesus. You can´t undo the past.

Rather look for the present and try to build a brighter future.

The US which owns A LOT of massive destruction weapons is the sole country to have used nukes and blames other countries, who don´t even have the technology to try to have Mass Destruction Weapons. After that, this country got invaded and no such weapon was found. Meaning of the story ?

Blame the Japanese Emperor who refused to surrender even though his forces had suffered staggering losses as they were pushed back across the Pacific and knew that an attack on Japan itself was imminent.

Blamed?!?!?!? Any sane American would be PROUD of it.
It ended a terrible war, saved lives on BOTH sides since a conventional invasion was prevented, it was a technological breakthrough for American science, and that cloud was REALLY COOL.
