cuz there both wierd and cuz its the other side of the moon and the other side of the rainbow and if your talking about the book version then you can get into all that industrial world crap and and the emerald city and the money part of pink floyd if thats too vague then whatever but the book is different from the movie. I guess you could also do something with how the time part of dark side of the moon is like how dorothy leaves her boring hometown and goes to live life instead of wasting her time away or something i dunno

Pure coincidence...but it does indeed sync with the movie!
When the Beatles recorded Strawberry Fields Forever, they had two different version they were trying to opt for...one version in a faster tempo and different key than the other. It just so happenned that when you slowed down one and sped up the other, they quite accidentally fell into the same key! So the final version is a combo of the two....even though it was an unplanned event!

Hey, man, if you give me enough LSD, I'll sync up Dark Side with the Wizard of Oz, The White Album with Rosemary's Baby, Spongebob Squarepants with Master of Puppets, and, hey, while I'm at it, 10,000 Days with 16 Blocks. Woah... cool trails, man!

I think it's just a coincidence. It probably would go with a lot of other things as well. People make connections that they want to make.

Or, maybe I am wrong. It could have been an elaborate plan.
