1) 3.8 3.68 3.10 3
2) -6 132.6 132.6 356 406 406 455 (are these numbers correct, you have doubles?) or is it
-6 6 6 132 132 356 406 406 455 ?
3) 4.010 4.011 4.100 4.110
4) No he is wrong, because if the first number after the decimal is larger then the numeral must be of more value

1. 3.8 --3.68---3.10---3

2. 6----6,356,406,132-----6,455,406,132

3. 4.010-----4.011----4.100----4.101----4.110

4. No Max is not correct.
Because: 0.16 = 0 ones + 1 tenth + 1 hundreth

And 0.5 = 0 ones = 5 tenths

5 tenths is greater than 1 tenth

3.8, 3.68, 3.10, 3
---------------------
I'm kind of confused where the numbers and and begin for the second one.
---------------------
4.010, 4.011, 4.100, 4.101, 4.110

.16 is less than .5 so max is wrong.
The farther you move to the right of the decimal point, the smaller it is. Therefore .5 is larger than .05, .005, .0005 and so on.
3.8 is larger than 3.6 because .8 is larger than .6
I hope that helps. I suggest reading over your math book.

do your own homework- you'll never learn! this whole homework help section of yahoo answers is stupid because everyone just asks for answers to their homework, not real help. plus, in the time in took you to type that up, you could have answered the questions easily.

those are things that a 3rd grader should be learning, are you old enough to have a yahoo account or did you lie about your age when you registered this account??
