Which player would best address the bull's glaring need for an inside offensive presence? Pau is the better all around player, while Zbo is a better scoring force inside.

The blazers would be wise to trade him now while his value is at an all-time high. He is the last of the remaining "jailblazers" and I just don't see him with the other young studs in Portland for the future. A package of Nocioni, Tyrus Thomas, and a pick might get it done. The bulls could be kicking themselves come playoff time for not giving up Deng for Gasol. They would already have Nocioni if Luol left so it's a wonder why they didn't do it.

the bulls have an excellent perimeter game with guards of duhon, gordon, hinrich, nocioni, and deng. what they need now is an inside offensive threat. Gasol has changed his game over the years, he is much more aggresive and does not just settle for jumpshots anymore. you see him more and more in dunk highlights. This year, gasol and randolph have a similar game. randolph is a bigger threat down inside with a great low post move and an occasional 15-18 foot jumpshot which gasol can make with ease. To summarize this up: Gasol has a nice perimeter game and nice aggresiveness. Randolph is automatic inside the paint with great denfense as well. However i would choose randolph to balance out their team. with great shooting from the backcourt and then a defensive and offensive frontcourt consisting of ben wallace and randolph they would have a chance at the title.

They already tried to get Gasol but they failed, the Bulls weren't willing to give up Gordon and/or Deng. They could use zach randolph at power forward, but is he even available?

On the court, I give the slight edge to Gasol.

OFF the court, I give the MASSIVE edge to Gasol.

The Bulls don't need the headaches that comes with Randolph.

without a doubt i would go for gasol, he puts up numbers no matter what and has proven himself to be a reliable player day in day out.
Randolph still has a lot to prove.
