Today, a friend and I were talking about this. At first I thought that I would sort of "freak" (I can't help it, lol), and try and get a hug or something. But then I thought that I would probably be too shy to say anything at all.....
How do you think you would act?

My ultimate idol is Bob Dylan, definitely. If I met him, the encounter would go one of two ways...
Scenario 1- Go up, shake his hand, politely but fervently tell him how much I enjoyed "Desire", and ask for a picture so that I could prove to myself later that it wasn't a figment of my imagination.
Scenario 2- Lose the ability to form coherent words and run away.
I'd like to think that it would be Scenario 1, but I'm almost 100% sure it would be Scenario 2.

Well, if I met Davey Havok I'd want to scream and freak out but most likely I'd just act normal, probably be shaking though and not talking all that much! I heard he's real cool about that kind of thing luckily. Also, talk to myself in my head to try to calm down lol.

If I could meet my musical idol, I think I would (for the first time) become instantly shy
I hope I could at least blurt out " Ive been a fan of yours since I first heard your voice in 1962, and no one has had a bigger influence on my life than you have - and I thank god for you."

If I ever met my idol (it is Jared Leto, a great singer and actor), i might probably scream and perhaps faint. And ask for an autograph and photograph. Then i might quiet down and act wide-spread. because of fact i for my area does not want human beings to think of i became on crack or something...

I would treat them as I do any other person. That is all that they are. Another talented person, just like everyone else in the world. But I would ask for a hug and a picture =P

Id ask if I could throw down a couple tracks with them sometime, as the conversation would be totally about music.

I am much older most likely than you but when I was ALOT younger, I love David Bowie.....loved him....was in a bar....(long story) in Montreal and in he walked with a lot of people.....he looked way better and taller in person, it was only me and another girl in the bar and they locked the doors....it was awesome....over the top...he asked me what I was drinking and I said boileer maker and he said may favorite.....I ordered anotther and asked him for an autograph on my cocktail napkin....he did ....he was super nice..we chatted....it was great....he asked me a ton of questions about what it was like to be a mom......it was my only brush with greatness but oh so memorable.......

If I met Jimmy Page, I'd shake his hand and thank him for his music. Hopefully I'd maintain enough cool to carry on a conversation with him.. not sure I would though.
But I sure would like to thank him! No one writes a riff like Jimmy!!
