few years back nearly everyone (in the uk) had nokia's and sony ericsson were almost unknown, know they are the biggest in my opinion, they have done well i think its because of the walkman series of phones they have, what do you think?
and what phone do you have?

Ericsons for girls. Men have Nokia's.

It is also the fact that there are also so many different features on the Sony Ericsson to the Nokia.
Both of these companies bring out similar phones every other month.
I used to own a Nokia 6230 for the past 2 years till 2 months ago & went for the Sony Ericsson k800i & got used to working it nearly straight away.
I've also owned all othes makes of Nokia & thought that I would never change from them but I did in the end & I am glad that I have done.

Well I'd say the reason is that Nokia's more recent phones are very high end, they have also grown to be somewhat ugly. As opposed to Sony Ericsson (which a few years ago was two sepparate companies) which have come out with good durable phones, the MP3 Player built in is probably the best offered among mobile phones nowadays anyways.
I don't have a SE phone though I would like to get the new K810

I have had both. I prefer nokia to sony ericsson, because sony ericsson are more walkman than phone. Nokia phones are more vesatile.

I have a nokia and I don't think Sony Ericsson took over Nokia.

I had always had Nokia's in the past but I have switched to Sony Ericsson.
in my opinion phones are not built to last anymore.

iv got a sony ericsson k800i
had a sony ericsson before that aswell.i jst think they luk better than nokia phones

nokia lost out i think because of the look of their phones but they have some nice ones out now,ive still got my nokia 6630 which is good phone my teenage son got the sony cos its got the walkman on it.

possibly,nokia was not bringing in enough income therefore the owner would either run bankrupt or ask someone to take over the company. i have a nextel motorola i 265

i hate the tiggle stick of sony erricson its really annoying.
Nokia are more versatile in their style of phone. and they have a model suited for everyone.
like the elegant 8800 and the latest n95 with 5 mega pixel.
sony erricson aint taking for another 10 years
