its been boggling my mind for years. what distinguishes an intellegent or smart person or creature from a person or creature of lesser intellegence?

anyone else who wants to tell me its spelled "intelligence" can go to hell. im trying to gather what people believe defines intelligence, not how to spell. so dont try to get easy points off my question, its just annoying so dont do it.

Intelligence is the capacity for learning. (or the gathering of secret information...like a spy!)

Being "smart" is having or showing your intelligence (or to feel a sharp stinging pain).
