No he is not. The problem with judging current presidents especially today is the party animosity and the pure hatred that the American public just desires to rain down on political officials. No GWB will not be ranked in the top 5 presidents in 100 years when all those currently of opinion age will be dead and buried but he will not be ranked at the bottom. All it takes is to really read up on past administrations and the popular opinions of the time to see how this changes. Lincoln was hated by a majority of people out there if you look at how one half of the country had left the union and in the Northern states their were major war protests and the administration's policies. Now Lincoln is clearly one of our best presidents. Bush will never have this reversal in fortunes but he will not be at the bottom. Someone like a Carter who had one of the most ineffective one term presidencies with a declining economy, a major hostage crisis, a weakening of the military, and a president who on his defeat called the voters stupid. And since he has pandered to socialists around the world and ensured countries like N Korea obtained the recipe for nuclear weapons. Carter will always be at the bottom of the list even in 500 years.

As an American, I would have to agree that George Bush is the worst President in the history of the US. He has destroyed US foreign relations, citizens of most countries openly hate us, and he has single handedly tarnished the US' image. The next President will have a lot of correcting to do, no matter their political party.

Unfortunately, he is not the worst President in history, he is one of the same as all others that have presided him. Others were more diplomatic but dishonest all the same. Bush though, is showing us that you can be a dictator, a fascist and a God fearing man all in one. Chavez was not far from the truth when he said that El Presidente Bush was a Diablo.

If you give us a scale, pres. Bush may be in the middle! People doesn't agree with him in Iraq but it doesn't mean he messed up all the things. Look at the economic and security now - people has safe life and more jobs. (9/11 and the mortgage things is inevitable event left over by Clinton's administration)

I don't know how he is. He didn't go into Iraq by him self. I mean all those big democrats voted for the war back in 2003. The media makes him seem too much as a bad president when he really isn't. He didn't do anything bad as Nixon.

George W. Bush will go down in history as the worst American President (to date). He is the Devil, reincarnated.
May Bush rot in Hell for all the murderous anguish he has caused this world. -RKO-

Well, he is certainly the one who has gotten away with the most criminal violations of federal law.

But on the scale of things, others have caused more lasting damage. We'll hopefully be able to repair the damage that Bush has caused in under a decade.

nixon, carter, and Van Buren are the worst but his current term could be the worst in history. In his first term he had his bright spots.
