I think so. I started skating first and then got into snowboarding. It wasn't super easy, but it seemed like i learned things really fast due to it feeling like skating in ways. I also noticed that since you can ollie easier on a snowboard, it helped me ollie higher on my skateboard. So basiclly, they work together, and i have heard people say that if you can do one, you def. do the other.

no it is snowboarding and surfing. The biggest difference between the two is how you steer. You pivot on the front with snowboarding and you pivot on the back in surfing.

i skate but i tried snowboarding once it was realy hard (but i ride goofy and the snowboard was a regular )

wrong they are totally different. i don't skate but when snow boarding you use different weight placements. also while snow boarding you have to stay on an edge. always!
