It depends on your taste. I live in Springfield and have been able to go down to a show on occasion. The Dixie Stampede is very good - it's a show and meal. Enjoyable for everyone in the family. Cirque is great. The Incredible Acrobats of China is wonderful. Both of these have amazing feats by people, not like the cirques where the animals are a main attraction! There are great attractions like Titannic or Ripleys. Not to mention the music.

Pierce Arrow is the best. I've seen so many as I've been to Branson about 2 times each year for a good part of my life. Most all shows are good. The Showboat Branson Belle is a good change up too. When you get there, ask some people in the shops - like the outlet malls. They go to shows often & will tell you honestly who is good & who is not.

We went to Branson for the first time last summer.
A friend suggested the Pierce Arrow Theater, and we enjoyed it so much we went back the next day. They're a singing group with a country rock style. They also had a nice female singer. Their comedian was very funny.
We also saw the Red Skeleton Tribute, which we enjoyed, and the Justin Flom Magic Show which was OK.

By the way we ate at the Fall Creek Steak and Catfish house (very good steak) and Lambert's Cafe which is about 30 minutes north of Branson (Great food, great value, very popular)

The Dixie Stampede for sure! This was great, the meal was great, the entertainment was great, and it really got the crowd involved. The light show at Celebration City every night is really cool also. Very patriotic!

You have to go on the Ducks! It is like the one in WIsconsin Dells, but it is real neat, and there are really old humvies from past wars on the trail. The Butterfly Palace is cool too. Celebration City, White Water Park are cool too.
