Nose ring all the way! I have mine done, and it was nowhere near as painful as I thought it was going to be. I've only used a stud in it so far but I'm desperate to get a ring and try it out.
Ear piercings are for wimps ;)

Tupac had his nose pierced, but he wasn't a "rocker". He was a Rap artist/poet. I think the eyebrow piercing is more rocker. Earring is common. My brother had double piercings on both ears and wore small silver thick hoops. He was into punk and rap. I had my nose pierced with a small dimond but it was because I thought it looked pretty. In the end you will be wearing it so its your decision.

nose. ear rings went out in the 80's.
PS the "bull" nose ring is called a septum.
