Obviously, a business must have some kind of accounting and marketing department in order to stay in existence. Sometimes the company is so small that one person may handle all the duties for more than one department, but it is still there. Without accounting, no one would know whether they were making any money of if their paychecks would clear the next time. Without marketing, you would not make any sales or let others know that your business exists.

Every manager should ask this of their employees. They all need to know that it takes everyone to get the job done.
