Go and see your doctor first thing. Just because you were scanned two years ago, doesn't mean it hasn't developed now.
It could be a side effect of your contraception, or anything. Go and see a doctor!!!

What Are the Signs and Symptoms?

The most common sign of endometriosis is severe pelvic (lower abdominal) pain. It may occur occasionally or constantly, and it may be associated with a girl's period. Although slight cramps for a couple of days before or during a menstrual period are normal, lasting or intense pain that disrupts a person's day is not. With endometriosis, the pain is usually so bad that it causes a girl to miss school, sports, and social activities.

Other possible symptoms include:

* pelvic pain that gets worse during exercise, after sex, or after a pelvic exam
* a very heavy period
* lower back pain
* constipation, diarrhea, or feeling pain or seeing blood when going to the bathroom (endometrial implants can press on some of the organs involved in getting waste out of the body, such as the bladder, intestines, and rectum)

If a girl notices these symptoms, it doesn't necessarily mean that she has endometriosis. Lots of other things - like an infection - may cause similar symptoms. But it's important to see a doctor right away if you notice these symptoms. If you haven't been examined by a gynecologist for the first time yet, this is a good time.

GO GET CHECKED IMMEDIATLY.. just because you were clear 2 yrs ago doesnt mean you are now. Dark blood means something is going on up inside your uterus. You could have polyps that can be cancerous if not taken care of. Might just need a DNC, I had same problems as you and kept putting it off and ended up with cancer. Please go for a checkup. Your body is trying to tell you something is wrong. Be SAFE not sorry and get checked!

it sounds like endometriosis, i had it, my didn't show up on scans only when i had laproscapy,op. and blood test. go back to your GP, or it could cyst on your ovaries. i had both and it sounds just like it. ask for a referral to gynecologist.

please go back to your gp, you say you had scans to rule out endometriosis but the only way to prove or disprove endo is with a laprascopy.these could be signs of endo it can be more active at diferent times
