Tools -> Internet Options
Button called "Tabbed Browsing Settings"
In there, last check box in the top section: "Open home page for new tabs instead of a blank page".
Check it off, hit ok, hit ok and enjoy....

Here's the answer your looking for, in IE7click tools, click settings in tabs and put a check in open home page for new tabs instead of blank page

go to tools>internet options and then type in the URL of the page u want to be ur home page in the space provided

Have you tried clicking TOOLS (on the right) > Internet Options then setting your home page there rather than having it link to ABOUT:BLANK?

You go to control panel witch is at the start menu then go to network and internet connections then at the bottom go to internet options then where it says Address that is where you type in the website you want to be your homepage.
