Hi! There's a song I used to listen to and remains one of my favorite Sarah McLachlan songs, called "Elsewhere" (originally on her 'Fumbling Towards Ecstasy' album). The song is about needing to follow your own path, and there's a line in it that goes "...Mother, Can't you see I've got, To live my life the way I feel is right for me, Might not be right for you, But it's right for me..."
