Honestly, it just seems to me that most women graduate high school, then quite a few get a 2, 4, or 5 year degree and end up getting married and being a housewife and raising kids. I just don't see the point of most women graduating high school and I would certainly not let my daughter waste my money on an education that she wouldn't use. Now don't get me wrong, I know some women would actually use a degree but I just don't think it benefits most women. I think they are better off getting married and having kids at a young age because the younger women are when they have kids, the more energy they will have to play with them. You know what I mean?

I almost forgot to mention, the younger women are when they have kids, the more of a potential they have of seeing their grandchildren grow up and having children of their own.

On a practical point of view, you have to go to university to meet the future rich people. But really, who are you to judge? Maybe if you had gone to college, you would have figured that one out and not have wasted five points asking it.

Here's the thing: it doesn't matter if a woman get a high school diploma and then a college degree and never uses it because of marriage and children. What she has, what she has learned is something that CANNOT be taken away from her. A high school diploma, a college degree empowers women through knowledge. A woman shouldn't have to depend on a man period. Just because a woman doesn't use her degree right away doesn't mean it's a waste. Those kids do grow up. And the way marriage is going in this county, men do leave. Just because it might be more convenient to have children at a younger age, doesn't make it easier or better than waiting until a woman is older. Besides what kind of example can a woman be to her kids without an education?

Mmm. I am a 35 year old over educated stay at home mother and housewife. Yes you could say I wasted an education. I ahve sons and 1 daughter and I figure she will probably do the same thing I did. BUt I would never deprive her of an education. After she is a mom she can use it or if she needs to use it she can. Plus, I wouldn't want my sons to marry immature uneducated little girls that know nothing about the world or have not experienced the trails or joys in gaining an education. Education and knowledge is so much more than the expense it grows you in ways you could never predict.

Oh boy...you opened up a can of worms. The younger women are when they have kids, the more energy they have? I was 36 when I had my first child and I have plenty of energy because I take care of myself. I used my education for the years before I had a child, thank you, the money wasn't *wasted*. So, no, I don't know what you mean. Am I in a time machine and someone sent me back to 1952?

Put self-value on the scale -- we are ALL individuals, our personal worth = the value we place on our lives. Are you going to be more happy with being sold to the highest bidder or, whatever the finance be -- what you have accomplished in reaching your personal goals. ? Most women of integrity I know
value themselve highly, and I for one married a very intelligent
one (can't afford her) -- that I RESPECT as well as love

Life is a game you play by your own rules

Umm, no. You see some of us want to work AND have kids. I'm working hard in college and there's no way I'm dropping out. And I want a real job! My mother was a working mother all while I grew up (and still is!) and I admire her greatly! My dad lost his job for a while and she was able to step up and provide for us. Yeah it would be nice to take the easy way out and marry some rich guy, but the truth is life doesn't work out that way. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, I'm just determined to not be someone like that.

You need to get an education so you dont have to rely on a man to support you. What happens when your rich man starts beating you and treating you like crap? Then you have no education and no skills and you are stuck in a miserable life. Be self sufficient and stop talking yourself into a sugar daddy and get an education.
