The training is hell, you would have to sell your soul to pay for it.
The final exams are purgatory then they leave you in limbo waiting for the results.
If you do get through the benefits package is hot but as a profession there is a high risk of burn-out and the boss is a horny old devil.
Not a job you would like to be fired from but if you can stick it through the seven levels then it really is a hell of a job.
I seem to have been at it for eternity !
sometimes it feels like a lifetime ( or several )

Take it from a guy in a Satan-suit, the wages aren't bad - they're just misunderstood. I mean, you know the wages of sin are death, right? What nobody seems to make clear enough for my liking is that you get to choose WHOSE death. Remember when Bush nearly choked on a pretzel? That was due to be one of mine, but apparently there was some sort of mix-up in the accounts department so they had to refund him. Bastards. The Advocates are OK, but don't EVER mess with the Devil's Accountants.

As for me, I dropped out of the programme and found a gig as the Devil's Jester - pretty similar to being an Advocate, but with more laughs.

Forget it. Almost every attorney in the country is in the service of the devil. There are no openings for the next 35 years. Now, if you want to skip the law degree and go straight into politics you can still work for Satan and have a hell of good time styxing it to everyone else at the same time.

You only get paid with the atisfaction of knowing you have created chaos!! A law degree is not required, simply a quick wit, sarcastic and perhaps sadistic streak, creative personality and the ability to see and seize opportunites when they arise! Oh, hope you like the heat! lol

In many respects you have to be your own devil's advocate each time you make a decision by weighing up the pros and cons. what you have to ask yourself is not what does it pay to be one, but, what does it cost for you not to be one?

It doesn't pay much. But the benefits are great.
