last night they asked c.ronaldo why his penalty decisions and cheating always come up in the same sentence? He replied they are jealous because i'm too good. nice one ronaldo!

i asked this because i am really p*ssed off with people saying he cheats. He has great talent and if he moved to arsenal or chelsea, for example, i bet their fans would change they're minds on the cheating aspect.

i was so close to posting a question about this......then i saw yours...

that a.s.s geoff shreeves [the SKY interviewer who did the ronaldo man of the match interview] is a jealous, stinking wretch....

sky should really check out who they employ.....it was horrible journalism...he was practically trying to force ronaldo to admit he dives.....#$%@ing a.s.s.

i was ecstatic when ronaldo told him that people were just jealous because he is "too good" - i could not have thought of a more perfect answer.

i'm also sick of ppl trying to undermine his greatness with ignorant comments about diving......if u thought ronaldo dived against boro, u obviously don't know how to spell football much less know naything about it. so all of u haters please keep ignorant thoughts to yourselves. for the spirit of the game.

I actually thought Alan Smith came up with a brilliant answer to the question "Will you be moving elsewhere at the end of the season?" To which he replied "No, I am as good a player as any other at this club and deserve to be here"
Put the interviewer in his place.

Goes to show you can take the player out of Yorkshire etc

From a Leeds fan actually quite pleased to see Smithy doing well for himself.

This will one day be a famous football quote. Indeed, Cristiano Ronaldo is having an awesome season and if he keeps it up, will likely win the ballon d'or next December. I think people over do it with his diving. He's made a scapegoat because he is such a brilliant player.

Love him or hate him, you've got to admire the brass watsits on that.

I'm getting round to forgiving him for the World cup shananigans - he's been awesome for us this season.

The last time a number seven wearing pretty boy came back to United from a world cup with a point to prove we won the trebble... I'd love it to be an omen... and what's more, we endured seven years of utter crap in goal to balance karma for the Gift of Schmeichel, so now we're allowed a decent one again - it can't just be coincidence can it?

The most unappealing aspect of supporting soccer is hearing fans make accusations of cheating.

You win some, you lose some. Whining about it isn't going to change a thing.

No, not technically a footballer but Delia Smith trying to get the crowd going had me in stitches, she was the only Norwich fan shouting that night. Lol.

I wouldn't change my mind if he came to Arsenal, that time when Pires dived against Portsmouth I was dissapointed I like to win fair and square , Ronaldo is brilliant but he still does a bit of diving , sometimes it's down to momentum sometimes it's just pure diving.

well the world we live in people will always have debt, i think Cr knows that people will always have debt about everything h do in the football match, about the question, the interviewer clearly said, am not saying you should have stood but was it a penalty, He's stupid enough to ask that question, am telling you if i was Cr i be long gone from England, i mean i love united but if i was in his shoe i don't think i be able to take that well.

Thing is, he does cheat, it's just that the people who support Man U, support man u - so they don't mind. If he moved to any other team, those fans wouldn't mind either. He deserves the kicks he gets, if he didn't want them, he'd stop cheating. At the moment it works out for him. Maybe someone will injure him next and he'll change his mind. It's not needed in football.
