How many times does an athlete have a hearing or a court case sheduled or rescheduled when it is convenient for them? The judge in Chicago that let him go play in the Super Bowl must have been a season ticket holder.
How are all these cases moved to the offseason? No other felon would be catered to like that unless they were an entertainer or an athlete. Sad, but true.
The previous answerer is correct. They'll handle it the same way they did with Jamal Lewis.

Well you have to think...if a normal person did this, they would get jail time. i think just because you are a pro-football player doesn't mean you should get a break. He did something wrong and he deserves the jail time. The NFL will probably punish him like 4 games maybe.

It is just a slap on the wrist. The jail time will affect his ability to get ready for the season. The NFL will definitely suspend him for a few games.

its about time someone famous goes to jail, usually celebrities just have to do community service, the nfl should punish him for at least 4 games

I was shocked. Why did they give him jail time. Didn't the judge know that Tank is a Pro-football player. What is the world coming to, when prime role models of the african american community get sent to prison for nothing. Where is Jesse, Where is Farakhan, Al Sharpton.........

it was gay letting him play in the superbowl...he should have gotten punished then....the NFL will punish him i say bout 4 games starting the regular season
